Within These Walls

Later today, the law school will usher in the holiday season with our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.  Many students embrace this opportunity to gather with one another, as well as with their faculty members outside the classroom.  And, amidst the stress and anxiety of final exams, our Office of Student Life will host its 13th Annual Pancake Supper next week.  Each year, faculty and administrators work this event, flipping pancakes and greeting students to show our support during exam period.

I’m highlighting these events because they underscore an ongoing commitment we have to our students.  Sitting just a stone’s throw from the energy and significance of the lawmaking and policymaking taking place here in the nation’s capital, we want to create many opportunities for students to connect within the walls of the law school.  In short, we hope you will form relationships that transcend the three or four years you may spend with us during this chapter of your career.
